Mini Harvest

Just a pic. of my mini harvest today, courgettes 'Orelia' & 'Defender', runner beans, shallots 'Fermor', the GYO free 'All Gold' raspberries & some teeny tiny strawberries which I grew from seed from a couple of years ago - I think it was called 'Wimbledon' & was free with Amateur Gardening magazine. Just a warning about the strawberries - don't bother growing these except for decoration, I knew they were mini ones but they are so tiny that when you pick them they squash between your fingers !

Ah the Joys of eating your own home grown veg. Nice photo too. it would make a good veggie greeting card.

Ate the fruit with some yoghurt & had roast veg. in pittas - lovely. Think the shallots might be called 'Jermor' not 'Fermor' but not sure, I can't read my own writing & have a head like a sieve!
