The Virtual Vine Show 2020...


Below are the 11 categories ..Get your cameras out folks!



1 , Plate of Tomatoes

2 , Plate of Chillies/Peppers - collection or one variety

3 . Three Beans, Same Variety

4, Three root Veg

5 , Best Funny Fruit or Veg

6, One Brassica

7, Three Potatoes

8 , Three blooms (single or variety) / vase of flowers

9 , Selection of Curcurbits ( squash, cucumber etc)

10 , Favourite photo of your allotment/garden/patio/balcony/growing area

11, Any other item



***This is just for fun, presentation is informal as this is not a serious competition!***


NB "All entries must have been grown by the entrant for at least two-thirds of the life of the plant
and should have been cropped during the 2019/2020 season


Closing date will be 10pm on 30th September.

Voting will take place over a period in October, dates to be agreed.

Points will be awarded to 1st/2nd/3rd places and the final totals will be presented at the end of the competition.

Just bumping this thread to remind everyone to post piccies of their produce for the VVS competition.
I've taken a few and am pretty sure I'll not get any better results over the next week so I'll be posting mine soon.

Where have all the photos gone? I can’t find any of the entries like they’ve disappeared? My watermelon suffered with spider mite in the end but worth trying next year with new seeds
