No Not been away (I have the blitz going on out side at the moment - Bloody Fireworks!!!) but I've been busy on my lottie & helping out a friend on his patch as he's not been long out of hospital so it was my turn to repay all the help he's gven me over the years! We never call them spring onions. Here in Ireland they have always been called scallions. I always thought spring onions was just an english thing.
