They're really pretty. I'm growing Carouby de Maussane Monge Touts that have similar flowers.

                Aren't they just lovely?

And if you grow crimson flowered broadies you will be bowled over too - absolutely gorgeous to look at, and they smell heavenly too. Will post a pic (if I remember , and send you a few seeds for next year if you want - if you promise that the Gang Show won't scoff 'em all! )

Are they Goldensweet? Because I'm growing those for the first time this year but they aren't ready to flower yet.

Ooh, very pretty! I might put them on my list for next year. I'd love to see a pic of the yellow pods when they appear- if you get a chance?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I have never grown broad beans before (I dont like them - thay are just for Mr D) and I was surprised what a pretty flow they had. Mind you I dont know how they will do as they are flowering in their pots as we havent had a chance to plant them out yet!

Yes Flummery - Golden Sweet (real seeds)and excellent 100% germination so far.

Already some of the pods are starting to form and really stand out from the green - now I've worked out how to post pics I'll try to remember to take some before greedy OH has them away straight from the plants.

Those are beautiful coloured flowers on your Mange Tout. I have sooo much to learn. I thought the flowers were always white! Mine are covered in white flowers which I love, but purple ones as well would be great. I'm making a note in my garden journal for next year!!!

somebody has stollen my mange tout and replaced them with peas !
last week i was harvesting mange tout and this week i find they are peas. if they have not been swapped then a miracle has occured !
i will be famous at last.
a good put down line to use !
