  • Giant Pumpkins

O.K. so I'm cheating, these aren't mine, but I thought you might like to see the pumpkins I came across outside Homestead Farm shop on Friday. We went to Martin Mere as it was free entry to celebrate the WWT 60th birthday & called at this nearby farm shop. the biggest pumpkin weighed about 300lb & cost £20 (lot of pumpkin soup there!) but I couldn't help wondering how you were supposed to get it home!

I'm sure Cinderella's fairy Godmother could assist if you slipped(or should that be slippered?) her a bob or two!

I looked around for some white rats Snadger & my glass slippers but couldn't find any!
Came away with a tray of pansies, some Dundee biscuits & peardrop flavoured ice-creams though. They had 'Uncle Joe's Mintballs' flavoured ice-cream as well!

Prince Charming's changed a bit as well (my O.H. - the one in the burgundy jumper!) He was a bit cold & windswept though.

He's no 'Atlas' Snadger, I'd have had to carry him home - he's got a dodgy back- had an op. on it years ago! Not sure I'm that keen on pumpkin soup/pie either!
