Mutant veg

Some of my veg has gone all mutant on me!!

Radish (variety Prinz Rotin) and beetroot (variety Bolthardy). One of each will probably feed us for two weeks!!!

That second beetroot is interesting...it has three clumps of leaves coming from it - as if three plants have fused together to make a sooperly-dooperly huge beetroot!

How long has the radish been in? Did you leave it too long?

Hi Lemon,

Both radishes were sown at the same time. I hadn't noticed the leaves of the beetroot being in three clumps - too busy thinking of wide slices for my sandwiches!!!!!
