In local shows 'Being creative ' can get you the dreaded NAS (Not as specified) tag!!!!!!

Great idea mods, will get the camera out and polish the lense! (covered in muck from being in walking trousers pocket all the time!)

Glad we're doing this again this year, thanks mods! Darn it, there's no 'potted plant' category this year, I won it last year being the only entry in it! Will have to see if I can grab anything I've grown before the slugs/snails/birds get it so that it looks presentable!

The Show threads are now officially open for entries Details of voting will be added to the initial 'Info' post at the top of the thread very shortly, but voting won't begin until the entry threads close at the end of September.

For this year, the Show is on a "just-for-fun" basis - there won't be any prizes and it's unlikely to end up in the magazine. However, we're sure that won't put any of you off, to be voted the winner by Grapes themselves will be exciting, and we all love to show everyone the produce we're so proud of

So, lets all get busy with our cameras before the best stuff ends up on our plates, and make it a really great Show for ourselves!

They're sliced now so would have to enter them into the "Best Dish" category and I'm sure I'll have lots of better entries to choose from in there like the bacon, potato and runner bean salad I had today, yum-yum
