  • My first harvest

Last year was my first year gardening and it was all a bit futile given the weather and losing all my toms and spuds to blight.

I've just picked my first veg of the season - dark green courgettes, 2 Yellow Ball courgettes, some strawbs and 3/12 lbs of Fambo spuds (from 2 shaws). Hmmm, I wonder what's for tea?

    Courgette Curry!

They all look really healthy. Nice harvest.

So have you decided what to have?

Wow, the pots look great. I've never liked courgettes much but this year have managed to grow some and they do taste very different to shop bought ones.

WELL DONE YOU , i love home grown courgettes... i've grown 'orelia' thats yellow, 'eight ball' thats a small golf ball sized one, and 'green bush' which speeks for its self... you really can't get better, i love them raw, not many reach the house.... never mind the pot
