Have you fixed it yet? Could you explain exactly how we post our votes too & do we only vote for one favourite in each section. Sorry if you've already explained this elsewhere but I don't always get long to spend online. Thanks.

I know what you mean, I raced home from work, picked my best 3 tomatoes off the plants, best chillies, photographed them and uploaded them to the competitions as fast as possible before rushing off to a hospital appointment.

Are you planning on just announcing the winners of each category, announcing 1st, 2nd & 3rd, or just releasing all the votes for every entry?

I only ask, because as a first time gardener I'm not really expecting to win any category and only entered for the fun of it. But if just 1 person votes for any of mine I'll be chuffed so it'd be nice to know all the results.

            Thanks

I was surprised to see things moved around a bit - I was away when things changed so did not know we had two categories for colours etc. A bit surprised also that my interpretation for lettuce or salad leaves should have been a full salad! I should have waited til last minute to post up.

No offence; but it was probably just not clicked when the threads were split.....we had alot to do in a very short space of time. As explained on the voting thread - we were only allowed 10 vote categories so had to split alot of them.

I think this might be the last show after all the kerfuffle; many apologies that your chilli was in the wrong category.

                        It definitely won't happen again.

We didn't have 2 categories for colours until the voting method was changed.......and we had to split them up. Colours was just the simplest way of doing it....

Well I, for one, definately appreciate all the hard work you and Sarz have put into the virtual show. I'm sure it wasn't easy with the teething problems on "Voting Day".

I also think, despite the hiccups, it has been very successful and a lot of fun. I don't see any point in growing all this fruit and veg if we can't share it with others who appreciate it. And what better way than a competition.

For these reasons, I really hope that with a little pleading we can convince you to do one next year. I'm sure we can change your mind by then

I second this, I know I didn't take part this year, but I've been looking at all the piccies all the same.

Ollie - maybe you need to plead in rhyme??

on the bright side Ollie, with all they've learnt and figured out this year, it should hopefully go better next year(fingers crossed there's a next year!) as said before, Knew they could get it right, just needed a little bit of time to sort

I think the mods have done a great job with the competition. After alk, they give up their own time to set all this up.
It is only a bit of fun and a nice way of showing off all the homegrown fruit and veg.

                                Well done i say.

You will find yourself a partner,
