this is probably the wrong place but here goes anyway.
3 years ago i moved into my house and there was no garden, just a sea of mud! today i am quite proud of what me and my oh have achieved (although it isn't finished) and wanted to share it with you because i couldn't have done it without all the great advice i get from you all on this forum, so thank you and i hope you like the pictures

Do you know the name of the pink and white clematis you have on the arch? I have the same one and have lost the label and pruning instructions

i don't know the name but i remember that you only prune any dead stems off in late autumn. this one flowers twice a year.

Please can you tell me how you made the tumbling pots please, i think they and the rest of the garden look fab.

hi
to make the tumbling pots you need:
1 x large pot
as many smaller pots as you like
1 x 6 foot 10mm steel rod (got mine from b&q - £8)

hammer the stake into the ground approx 2 foot
put large pot over stake through hole in pot
fill with mpc
slip second pot over steel rod and tilt to one side, fill with mpc
continue up the steel rod until all pots are on tilting each one the opposite way from the previous one. don't over fill the top pot as when you water the compost will come out if you put too much in. i inserted plastic tubes from clingfilm into the pots to water through. plant as you want. they are great for tumbling tomatoes too! i also have one with herbs in it. i liked the idea because i was running out of horizontal planting space and vertical planting seemed a good answer.
