My first crop of Wapsipinicon Peach tomatoes. Strange seeing them grow with a peach "fur" on them but lovely flavour, definately one to save seed from and plant again next year.

Blimey - if you can say it you deserve a wonderful flavour! I've not heard of this one but it loks very pretty. The variety of colour and texture (and taste) in tomatoes is amazing.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Yes Flum, bit of a tongue twister, tomatoes are, indeed, phenomenal in their variance, these have a base tomato flavour but citrus/melon tones in them."We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses."-- Abraham Lincoln

Thanks Jilly, I'm sure you'll enjoy when yours are ripe.
Hi frogdoctor, yes they were grown in a greenhouse, they'd probably be ok outdoors (I'll find out next year as I'll put some from saved seed outside).Last edited by T8Ter; 01-08-2010, 01:50 PM."We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses."-- Abraham Lincoln
