I started mine off on May 1st (as some of you know)
If you started yours off around the same time then join the fun of trying to grow the best one you can. I grow pumpkins for the kids to enjoy Halloween so thought if make a little comp of it this year. No prizes, just for fun.

Not sure if my pack of seeds are in fact courgettes and not pumpkins there not trailing instead I see flowers forming at the base!

planted mine out yesterday ,about 6 different types,have realized size isn't everything when I bought home my 60 kilo atlantic giant and said "how about that then" to the missus,who replied "how the hell are we going to eat that".
this year I have winter festival,munchkin,honey bear,sweet dumpling,invincible and saved seeds from 2 years ago where I accidentally crossed butternut squash"waltham" with pumpkin "invincible" and ended up with a butternut coloured pumpkin that tastes like butternut squash (about 10kg)

I have honey bear, baby bear, and one growing from seeds from an as*a squash that looked similar to sweet dumpling (which is doing the best of the lot). Sprouted some true SD seeds but they turned up their toes.
