There are very few entries in the "longest" and "heaviest" categories, because you aren't going to even enter if the previous entries are already "longer" or "heavier".

May I propose a different wording? Instead of 'heaviest' could we have "most impressive pumpkin"

Indeed TS that is why I did not enter mine this year (as declared in the thread),but that said heaviest & longest are "traditional" classes & if peeps cannot weigh their produce we do already have the catchnets of .... single squash or any other item .... that could be used on that occasion

I'm speaking from the viewpont of someone who didn't have a pumpkin or sunflower to her name, just a teeny little runner bean and forgot to upload most of her entries

I did that with a long bean last year - it was nowhere near the longest, but it was my longest
