Hi all,
Did anyone manage to order the 3 free 'all gold' autumn fruiting raspberry canes from last years GYO oct/nov iss?
If so, are you having any problems? Only I planted as per instructed, and one in particular was starting to show signs of life, (a couple of leaves) the other two have not shown any life whatsoever.
To my shock and horror as I checked them out this morning, the one and only's leaves have now dried and shrivelled up. The other two are still not producing anything.
I have done as instructed 'on the tin' and planted in the best position with muck from my composter etc, only to see it with dried leaves.
Has anyone else had this problem, if so can you help me, or at least offer some advice as to what to do next.
I have blueberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, blackberries, rhubarb, apples all growing quite happily but not the raspberries.
Help.
Many thanks
Jay
