I suggest that we go as flowering rhubarb, people who remember the day of the triffids with Howard Keel and the 80s show will run screaming if we make that clicking noise.
    Best wishes

Or the snapping noise as the stalks slowly break on us! And moans from us probably quite sore-skinned from the rhubarb sap.

Like a nutter I kept chuckling to myself on the train on the way home today with the thought of two rhubarbs appearing walk down the road, with muffled conversation floating out from their depths!

If you bring empty suitcases you can fill them up with Tunnocks Teacakes. Why bother with a change of clothes when there is so much British Chocolate to buy and take back to America.

For those who need subtitles to understand the above.
America lacks certain basic things, that make life worth living. Tea, Eggcups, Kettles that get to boiling point to make the tea. Curry powder and most basic of all needs,.... good Chocolate.

I like Tunnocks as well Jax, not good for the figure though Another certain basic item America lacks - Sane leadership

Me a Party Animal?.... Nooooo.... you must have me mistaken for someone else... It wasn't me guv, honest, I wasn't there, my twin sister... a-hem

No the earlier bbq was for my little boy's birthday and as we seem to have gotton ourselves a name for bbqs, so our friends always presume that any gathering round our house now is of the sausage and burger variety. (Don't you dare ntg!)

I've also been told they sell naff cheese in the US of A? People transport it back from here by the shed load apparently...?

Andrewo, what do you mean by flowering? Mine's never had flowers, or do you mean they are in leaf and stalk phase? Not sure if I'm missing out here on something (other that common sense that is)

One day, if your rhubarb is of a certain genus or gender, a giant stalk will appear, a green flower full of seeds. This is how the rhubarb reproduces in the wild. It also spells the end for that crown so tear it off and the crown will carry on. Rhubarb does have a weird flower, very triffid like in height.

But, you do get those lovely chocolates over your side of the pond - is the company Reece's, or something like that?
