Yep,8'6" are we all ok to measure this way ? I used 'leccy tape as it was what I had,but white paint,chalk,PTFE tape,etc would all work as well.
I'm just trying to find a safe,easy & cheap standard way to measure,standing on top of a wobbly pair of steps with a tape measure is deffo NOT safe

I can reach the top of my sunflowers without needing steps.
If we don't trust each other to give a true measurement, we can't trust each other to space their white tape out properly.
Can't we just accept each other's measurements?

Yep,no probs accepting peoples measurements,I was just trying to work out a safe way to measure that high.

So that's 3 peeps for square foot gardening so far...anyone else interested...we could do with about 6 or more really
