What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?

After careful planning, measuring, sewing and securing a special insect net over my gooseberry and blackcurrant bushes to keep out the sawflies, this was the total crop from both - 1 gooseberry.

                  Teaspoon for size comparison.

The strawberries... the plants are fine but it took months to realise the dog was eating the ripe ones straight off the plants.....

OK not a parrot but Kiwano Cucumbers as you can see I have lovely plumage (urmm I mean vegetation) but it's Bereft of life in that there isn't a single cucumber or a hint of a cucumber on it anywhere.

I haven't yet cracked how to grow carrots My first load in the raised bed got eaten by slugs. These were grown in a container and I got excited when the tops started showing.

On the plus side, I didn't have problems with carrot fly!
