And you know what? it is really nice, knowing that whatever we all enter, it'll be judged nice and fairily (!) with a sense of humour and a twinkle amongst the respect for the Top Banana Entries for peeps that are really dead good, because credit where credit's due....

I keep going outside & looking at my few remaining toms which didn't get blight & wondering if I'll get enough to photograph before the entries close. I've got some tumblers, Moneymaker & Tomazing which are coming on, but only a few on each plant. Unfortunately I won't be able to send them in as 'bribes' as they're likely to be the only ones I get to make a salad with this year!

I ate my one and only ripe tomato yesterday as it started to split! Apart from three green ones everything else is still just a flower, so it doesn't look as though I'll even get a chance for green tomato chutney!
