Now, I read it as 'plate and tomato' which is just as well because only a few have ripened so far (they are outside in hanging baskets) and this is the last Tumbling Tom Yellow left.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

100s and 1000's the £1 coin is there for scale so that you can see it's a small plate with small but very tasty toms and not a large plate with cherry toms pretending to be 100's and 1000s

I wouldn't have picked the one on the right yet, but the string supporting this plant snapped under the weight.......................

Had to fit some bamboo canes to support it.

I decided this year to have a plateful of just one variety. Summer Cider still my favourite.

They mightn't win on looks but they have exactly the taste I've been looking for - Intensely sweet and sharp and aromatic - if I eat them when they still have a tinge of green. But I'm letting these ones ripen fully for seed saving.

All of these (plus a few that have already been eaten) from one little 3ft high plant grown in an open topped growhouse, variety Megabyte. The tomatoes are on a 10 inch plate and all the green ones have at least a little red on them. There are 28 tomatoes on this plate, I have eaten at least 4 and there are 4 more on the plant that haven't started turning red yet.

Feed the soil, not the plants.
