No it doesn’t matter one of my shed doors faces west,it’s been fine for about 15 years,mines been built on top of a strong pallet,a couple of my dads friends built it,they’re plumbers so probably a pallet from a builder I don’t know but there’s a gap under my shed where the hedgehog lives (I think) could be a problem if a fox could get under there at an allotment,although foxes catch rats....

Remember the Windows and door sides can be swapped/moved if it comes flat packed. If you have the window facing on to your allotment, the door could be either left or right. Just have to decide before assembly.
