    I downloaded the software. Looks good but only managed a few things. I feel like I'm drawing holding the nib of the pen, so to speak. Before posting my plan on here I'll look at a tutorial so I can fully appreciate what it can do.

      What you need to remember is that you are drawing at full size and that you scale the drawing to fit your paper learn how to snap to objects and you will be away.

        I use excel, but it's fiddly and since nothing on my plot is exactly square it's more of an approximation... it's helpful as a record, though.

        More importantly, you definitely need a hammock. Just saying.

          What's wrong with word? You can just use text boxes and line those up.
