  • What can I do with a greenhouse metal base?

Bought for a fiver years ago (B&Q sell offs). Been sat in a box ever since.

I wont be buying a greenhouse and I've no idea what I could use it for. Any ideas?

I'd prefer to utilise it if I could but if not then I'll freecycle it in case anyone actually needs a base.

How big is it? Is it like a raised bed type frame, or like a tray for ground cover?

Here are a couple of ways I've used the ones I bought -

Bench top, with one turned piece upside down for "guttering". The far "table" uses the pieces to support guttering where I grew strawberries last year.

Also been used for outdoor bed edges and for drainage channels.
There's no end to their uses - you just have to think outside the box.

hard to say without seeing it - but if you start from nothing its definitely possible to make something - the trick is to make a useful something

bit more initial info need for a detailed answer. :-)

The ones in my photos were from the same B&Q sell off.
They're sturdy, metal "planks" with a lip top and bottom. Probably 2 are 6' and 2 are 4'. They have angled ends to make them all screw together into a rectangle.

Flog it on Gumtree. I'd buy it if I was closer . Must be worth twenty quid of anybody's money .
