What’s the best way to make shelving for a new shed ?
I have two old 6 ft Ikeas cupboard doors, which I thought I could rip down the centre and make a couple of shelves for my shed.
I start off my seeds at home in the greenhouse, rather than at the allotment, so don't need any major storage in the shed. Coffee, tea, sugar, a couple of cups and a few bits 'n bobs are all that will be stored there.
I’ll just use those L brackets, but as the doors are quite thin (probably 12mm) would it be sensible to perhaps glue two sections together, to give a thicker shelf, or maybe just add some 2 x 1 timber along the front.
