Building a Grapevine Arbour and Hedgehog house

Thought I'd post my ickle projects from 2 years ago in here, if ya all dont mind!

I am enthusiastic about doing DIT, but havent much experience or skill, just sheer bloody minded determination that what I want to acchieve will happen

When we took over Plot 1 (our 2nd plot) we inherited a shed with a large grapevine growing across it, which soon grew too big for the shed to support it, so we decided to build an arbour for it to trail across.

I know these arent anything on the scale of the build your own recycled shed or greenhouse, but just wanted to post them and show that not all projects need to be massive or for those with great DIY skills

Have you got any recent pics of the vine trailing along it Mrs D? It looks great

There are some on the blog, and I took a quick vid of the plot yesterday, which shows the arbour, but as the vine is only just starting to come to life its not yet in leaf, so it will be a few weeks until I can get any more pics showing what its like in full glory!

Do you get many grapes off it?

Last year about 10lb, the year before about 20lb, I think last years poor harvest was down to us, the plot wasnt properly tended as I was having a nightmare year at work. Hopefully this year it will be back to normal - once we finish clearing and planting the beds and digging out and re barking the paths with bark chippings
