Compost pens, planters, raised beds, fences. The possibilities are endless =)

If you're a ' normal' person, possibly a number of useful things like raised beds, planters etc. If you are the DIY engima that is ME, then even quite expensive ready-made raised beds tend to fall apart in your hands LOL *sighs* - swap a bit of my plants-woman-ship for a handy man? Hang on that sounds a bit.. LOL

          My effort

OH wanted a bench for front garden to catch the late evening sunshine
I didn't want to spend much money as its likely to go missing, I had a pallet lying around so knocked this up

I had a spare bit of decking board from another project, I slapped it on to make it look a bit less pallety

                  Thanks for the comments
She calls it "The chunk" it's pretty hefty (the bench)
Her input on the design was the side arms for resting on cups of tea, drinks, etc

It is a big old lump isn't it? Good thing though, I can't see many burglars stealing that without making much noise, especially the screaming as they drop it on their toes

So, what do we call someone who makes things from old pails?

In case you haven't guessed, I'm not really a Chr***massy sort of person but this take on a festive tree appealed to me - I do like pallets
