You will need a junior hacksaw and a drill of the right size. What I would do is buy the materials first so you have both the gutter connector and tank connector in your hand, you will then know what size drill you need.
If you can lay your hand on a scrape end of 22mm copper pipe you can heat this up to cherry red and it will easily do the hole for the tank connecter. I can't say about the gutter connector as they come in slightly different sizes but it would be worth a look.
If you fit the feeder pipe in the right place you will still be able to remove the lid.
