If they're to be used when it snows then the weight of the snow on them is the main problem.

I would probably leave the middle strut in place to give more rigidity and pop to the lottie and brush any snow off!

I made 3 of these out of 2"x2" timber & 20mm pipe. The bonus is they are light enough to move from bed to bed & can just be turned upside down in the winter (only fathomed that bit out last month....duh).

Basically how I made mine VC but I wanted rectangle so I wasn't restricted by the height near the sides.

Hmm, there are pros and cons aren't there. More growing space at the sides in the square cover, and easy to turn upside down. They're also beautifully neat. The curved polytunnel looks like you could easily change the covering, fleece, polythene, nets etc depending on what you need at any given time. They're also possibly a bit easier to make if you;re not a dab hand with the set square?

The bases are the same rabbit, you don't need a set square, I just used my eyes as you would notice if you saw them up close........mine have angled pipe instead of curved.......I can also change the net for fleece or polythene if I wish.......I won't but I could.........

I just used a cedar coloured stain rabbit........the plastic pipes were bent, easy to do then a piece of old blowaway pipe joining them together.....you could use thick canes.

I like the look of yours a lot more Bigmally, as you have more height for growing stuff side by side. Haven't started making any yet, but this looking good contender. Cheers
