How to create a lawn feed system?

Is there a way to filter some liquid lawn feed into the water going through a hose pipe?

I just use a watering can but I guess if you've a big lawn this may not be practical.

I've never used anything as I don't feed/weed my grass.

The best thing to feed lawns with is lawn clippings. Do frequent short cuts and just scatter the clippings over the lawn
