Any ideas for making gravel trays?

Hi all,

Just looking at kitting out my new potting shed and can't believe how expensive gravel trays are. I've bought some cheap capillary matting but need one or two long (over 1metre) trays. I've found some on Amazon but does anyone know a cheaper supplier or a DIY option that would be cheaper?

If I got three to use with capillary matting would I need three reservoirs for the water or one reservoir?
