I've got some money to spend from a cash grant on screening at my allotments.
What we have is palisade fencing all the way around our site but at one end the allotments are open to view thanks to the council raising a path by several feet when installing a "nature trail".
I would like to fit screening to deter people looking in (we're not anti-social, just like our privacy) and am currently looking at reed and split bamboo.
I need something which will last many years and notice that some screening is held together with either nylon or wire which may rust too quickly.
Has anyone had experience of using either type of screening, if so which would you recommend?
Incidentally, the nature trial saw off a much of the resident nature as a lot of vegetation was cleared to complete the works.
