There are some things its best not to understand Bretty. Both Marchogaeth and Jeanie have met me so whatever they say about me is probably rude !!
I'm so used to it that I have my own Insults thread http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ead_66183.html and its still open for custom

Scarlet, last week, I had a passenger in the car and heard a phone ring. So I said to him - is that your phone and he said he didn't have one with him. So I said, It can't be mine, it doesn't make that sound, so I ignored it. It was only when I got home that I realised that I'd never heard it ring before

just make your own staples out of a length of fencing wire. Use the plank to fashion the staples into the right profile.

VC when the wire bends due to the weight behind it go to Screwfix.com - Power Tools, Electrical, Plumbing Supplies & more search for hip irons code 85173 they may well suit your purpose. Loads of other builders metalwork there to which may give you some ideas.

So many ideas for me to think about Thank you!!
                      I worry about going to a builder's merchants when I haven't a clue what I'm looking for
Saves a lot of embarrassment all round if I ask you first
