The brand that springs to mind for me would be Rhino. Pricey but very good quality.

A friend of mine has an 8 x 12 which regularly causes me greenhouse envy!

Yup, Rhino. But as vikkib says - très cher.

        Or these also très cher:

I have a baby Rhino, because the wind kept destroying all my plastic blowaways

You can buy cheaper greenhouses, but you might find it (and its panes) travelling to your neighbour's

A geodesic dome style greenhouse will withstand high winds, gale force even, but commercially available ones will destroy your bank balance.

Ruby it does look a very nice GH but they are based in California so I dread the think how much shipping would cost to here in the UK.

like the Eden Project. I think home ones start at £2k (similar price to the Rhinos)

                If you're saving up, that's:

                - 400 trips to Starb*cks at £5 a time, or 400 bottles of wine
                - if you can swap the car for a bike, you'll be able to afford your gh in <66 weeks (based on the cheapest running costs of £30pw)

or you could build your own!

Findlay you may have purchased your greenhouse by now, so this is for information, after loosing three greenhouses to high winds I bought a Rhino greenhouse have had it now for eight years and had some high winds in that time, Thursday being the most recent, and the one bit of advice I would offer is that you check and tighten as required all nuts and bolts in the structure.
All the best with whatever you get.
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
