Raised beds out of pallets

Hi. Has anyone out there actually made raised beds out of pallets? Have managed to source a supply so will have plenty by spring time. Anyone have any problems?

This came up in a recent thread,iirc the consensus was that pallet wood was far from ideal for making raised beds & that staging (or other tanalised planking) would be a far better option from the points of : strength,longevity & ease of maintenance.
