  • Plywood - Any ideas?

I have acquired several lengths of 8ft x 1ft of 6ml plywood. My first thought (before I got them) was to use for raised beds. However, they seem a bit flimsy and bendy.
Has anyone any experience of this or alternatively what could I use them for?

I wouldn't be tempted to use them outside Danny as they will most likely split. You could maybe use them as shelving or maybe a potting bench.

There are different types of plywood- sounds as if you have one which needs to be kept dry.
I'd go with what BM suggests- or, do you have somewhere like a shed you could part insulate?

How good at DIY are you???

      Maybe a bottle storage

      ...or better still....( )

obviously you don't have to store booze in them!

If you can see WBP printed anywhere on them they'd be OK for outside use (Water & Boil Proof). Otherwise Mally or Nicos's ideas sound good.

Not necessarily so there are different grades of plywood, exterior ply as an example.

Marine ply... And the list goes on

You could cut off a small section and leave outside as a test piece

That said, I'd personally not use for raised beds....
Never test the depth of the water with both feet

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....
