What can i do with a set of old wooden ladders?

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

I have recently aquired a set of aluminium ladders and have no longer any use for the set of wooden ladders that i have (which were getting a bit unsafe for ladders).

I don't want to chop them up and skip them as I am a true Yorkshireman..... The only idea that i could come up with so far is to chop a 6 foot length off and fit some flower buckets (from morrisons) in the gaps and this can act as a sort of shelf in my green house for planting tomatoes in.

any other suggestions would be marvellous, looking forward to the replies!

We turned an old set of ladders into a salad bar not sure why but the slugs didn't touch the lettuce at all.

if strong enough,they could be cut some of of each,then assemble them together to form an arch,the shorter ends to form the roof,
Use to make climbing frames for cues,toms ext,abvousley cut the lengths to your needs,

Ladders are good for pumpkin/squash to clamber along,with clear growing soil underneath see ....

we have an old one which we use as a clothes hanger - just stand it against the wall amd hang clothes off it.

I have two wooden ladders and lie them on my patio then put my potatoe bags or buckets on then to help the drain.

I have one that I plan to train a passionfruit vine along. If I can keep one alive long enough Otherwise a grape vine I think.

Just lay it on the ground somewhere and fill with soil to the.rungs and you have a good few segments for herbs??? Or just strip the ladder of its rungs and use the rungs as stakes and the sides for whatever you need two long bitd of woid for.cut it in half then do a 45° cut on the cut ends then assemble as an upside down v and put hanging troughts on it si they would be teired?
