I'm bored waiting for the wood to arrive for my gardening exploits so I'm sat here thinking and I've got another plan.
As my polytunnel frame will be raised by sitting it on 4" x 4" timber, I was thinking about wrapping copper slug tape all the way round the bottom of the wood. Would it stick though?
Or maybe I could staple it on?
I've not actually seen this stuff in the flesh so to speak so I'm not sure how well it would stick.
I figure that by doing this and also sitting the tunnel on 2 layers of Geotextile membrane, I should be able to keep most of the nasties out although I'm sure a few determined ones will get in no matter what.
I'm also thinking I could collect a few worms and rehome them in my raised beds. So the good beasties will be in and the nasties will be kept out.
So, will the tape stick? Or can it be stapled?
