Sorry not sure where this should go.
I normally put my veg peeling in a bag ready to go out to the compost bin every few days or so. Last summer I found a bag I had missed, it had dropped behind my veg rack. The bag had been there some weeks so was expecting a soggy mess
but to my surprise the peeling looked like they were new
. The bag had eggshells in it too, I normally don’t put eggshells in the compost bin I have no idea why I don't.
So my question is does anyone know if eggshells stop veg from rotting?
