Another vote for puncture repair. I had a flat tyre and ordered a new inner tube off the web, whilst waiting for it to arrive I used a cycle puncture repair kit. It got me going, in fact a year on I still have a brand new inner tube on the shelf and the repair has held up well.
If you can fix a cycle puncture this is very similar.

I took mine off and took it to the car tyre place down the road. They fixed it for a couple of quid.
