Cleaning a lawn mower questions :)

Im after some advice or a good vid that shows me how to clean an electric lawn mower at the end of the year, ready for storage.

Ive knacked two lawnmowers in the past 2 years so Id be grateful of any advice

You should really clean it after every use otherwise the clippings set like concrete & you have to chip them off................Basically try to remove any grass that shouldn't be there.

I would say pressure wash but maybe not with an electrical one?

I use a leaf blower to blow the cuttings off the ride on after each use. Makes it much simpler as BM says!

I usually give it a quick scrub over with a scrubbin brush when I use it but noting more..

Where are you storing it? Any chance damp or condensation could be getting into the electrical part of it at all?

Its stored indoors in my passage, its dry and warm.

use and old blunt knife or wall paper scraper to get the majority off, then store it, if its inside it will soon dry out any moisture pockets in any grass that's left.
