Hi,
I have lifted an area of slabs to make two paths. I thought the 'patio' thing the previous plot holder was taking up far to much room.
So I have lifted them all and have found them bedded in with what looks like a couple of inches of builders sand. Then underneath that I have found a plastic sheeting, under that is a shed load of pebbles and bricks. Underneath the pebbles seems to be another layer of plastic and them more pebbles.
So I am wondering firstly why did I bother, but also what to do with the builders sand? Can I dig some of it into the ground or do I need to get rid of all of it?
Have taken some pics of area and sand so you can see what I am trying to describe to you.
Thanks
