Broken pot repaired with glue gun

Some years ago we had a nice 12 inch pot. Unfortunatly the frost got to it and it fractured in to a number of pieces. My daughter, who liked the pot, glued it back together with a glue gun. We have not had a problem since and it's still going.
I suspect the glue provides a bit of flexibility and prevents the frost from stressing the pot.

Just read the original post and underneath it was an ad for denture repairs.Made me smile, wonder if they use a glue gun!!

I mended a broken planter with uhu glue several days ago and it works! Seems to be holding so will plant up today. It is an expensive terracotta pot that I really like, so happy days!! Will have to see how long it lasts.

I have broken glazed pot too, shall get the glue out now
