  • Good solar fairy lights that won't die

I have lost count of the various multicoloured solar fairy lights we have had on our arch that have eventually died or had to be taken back to the shop because they didn't last very long.

Does anyone know of a reputable, quality make that will be weatherproof etc ?

    Thanks

Same here The only ones to have lasted are inside a onservatory - solar panel and lights.
Maybe its the "weather" that destroys them - rain, wind...........

Pretty though they are, I've never had an outdoor set last more than a few weeks either.
I have wondered before now if they are really meant to be indoor ones.

I will follow this thread with interest too...I was given a set for my birthday and will put them up once the frosts are over.
I'll let you know how these get on.

Check out PowerBee at Solar Lights & Outdoor Garden Lighting | PowerBee Ltd the guy is really passionate about solar products and specifies a lot of his own branded stuff so that it works in the UK. He sent me a garden light and some other stuff, and I asked about purchasing 3 more as they discount on even quantities.

The lights I have come with an adjustable top so it catches the light better and they last until it gets light in the morning. Once I have finished my garden I will be putting them up and as I use each item I will be reviewing them.

I bought a set too, lasted one Christmas and that was it. Disappointing.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
