Just an idea for the current "Storage Structure" to add to their signature:

You're supposed to eat and drink genteelly. Nibble and sip, nibble and sip - let this be your mantra. Forget the scoff and guzzle, its nibble and sip from now on

My auld Dad was a nibble and sipper. His dinner was cold before he'd finished eating it!

His sipping consited of beer and whisky ad infinitum. He hypothesied that if he only drank beer he would be full before he was drunk, if he only drank whisky, he would be drunk before he was full. By having a pint then a whisky chaser he was drunk when he was full!

Less action - more talk - or vice versa:

I'm not expecting any prizes for my tin shed - even though its a lovely shade of black and white on a couple of sides - it is after all but a prefabbed tin jobbie. However, next year when my pergola is covered in vines all hanging heavy with bounteous bunches of grapes I will be able to sit in my green plastic chair and simply reach a hand out for a crop of sun drenched goodness. Then, then I will send in an updated picture and - barring jealous naysayers - then I shall win the coveted SS emblem.

              That's the plan

Also its strangely neat and tidy inside - its as if this thread has inspired me to have a clean up.

I don't think mine will ever be finished. I keep changing my plans all the time!

I reckon we need a sticky thread entitled 'Shed/Structure of the Year 2017 Competion' Then on the first post a little blurb asking grapes to post piccies of there sheds stating they will be judged by how many 'likes' they get. The one with the most likes by January 2017 will then have the chance to add a banner to there signature. I think the banner should be a scroll with the 'Best shed (or structure if appropriate) award for January 2017' At the end of each month it will be re-assessed and likes checked. If someone has more likes by then they can add the banner with help and a prompt from SP or myself if necessary with the same wording but changing it to February 2017 ad-infinitum.

That way grapes can keep their banner and new winners also have a banner!

Thats what I think so pick the bones out of that and shoot me down if ya wanna!

A scroll similar to this would be appropriate! (With wording in it of course!)

I encountered a problem trying to upload a trial scroll but I'm sure more knowledgeable grapes/Mods could sort this.

I like it! But we will wait till a mod with considerable more knowledge of........well everything , have had their say. Then I will do the sticking thing and we can get this bad boy up and running

How often do you think people change their sheds? By month 3 it'll be the same sheds over and over again.
I bet everyone who puts up a pic of their shed will get the same number of votes - because we're all nice here and tend to like any post with a picture.
What about an Easter shed comp or a winter shed?

How about run it from January to March in the snadger format then do it again in Autumn if it turns out to be popular? Autumn would also give lots of time for DIY improvement if anyone so wishes.

Third shed in four years... (though I *may* be a little unusual)

and I have at least one new 'structure' a year - though admittedly not usually of the 'storage' variety
