  • Not sure where to put this!!

When my greenhouse was built I left room for a small patio area both in front and down one side, broken crazy paving is filling the area with sizable gaps between the flags. Now I know Chamomile and Thyme can be used as a lightly used lawn/path, but is there anything else that the occasional wheelbarrow tyre or grandchild's foot might squish that will survive that and will add a little scent maybe?

There are different flavoured thymes, oregano/marjoram or the small mints ? Morrocan?

I had some white alyssum that self-seeded in the cracks of my patio, can't remember it giving a smell and grew a bit big if I left it on it's own.. looked nice though

I intend to put some herbs and maybe thrift round the edges, perhaps that and some moss(which I don't have to encourage)will do the job.

Just watch out, they could be slippy when wet if they overhang the paving stones
