        Jay, did squiggle a cunning plan and fortunately called in at glass shop before going to Wicks for timber. Glass man said the standard greenhouse glass 2x2 is only £2 and a bit, you sure you want it 2'2"? It will cost £12.

        So cunning plan went in compost bin, built it from the top down using standard glass. Cut the middle bit on my tile cutter,glass man offered to cut it for free but I didn't know how big I wanted it.

          Looks good LBT, I was gonna have a go at one. Was gonna use all the panes of broken greenhouse glass were the corners have cracked.

          Definitely gonna give tile cutter idea a go, great tip!!

            Amazong what you can do with an abandoned raised bed, a shower panel thing, some left over corrugated plastic, a bit of polytunnel gubbins and some twigs

              Its seems its all about finding the lid bit first then building down.

              A "mums gone to iceland" chest freezer double skinned acrylic lid would work well.

              Will be keeping my eyes peeled, inspirational thread methinks
