  • Hedge cuttings on gravel borders

I have gravel borders but have a problem of how to pick up hedge cuttings. Any ideas?

Hi Trish and welcome to the forum. I've changed the title for you!
If you put down a tarpaulin or old sheet at the foot of the hedge, before you cut it, the cuttings fall on the sheet and you can gather it all up together! That's what I do anyway

Welcome to the forum, that is very easy to answer,as it's what i did when we had a hedge, simply put down a cloth of some kind,i used old sheets, curtains, anything that is not slippy, when you done bagging up,the rest thats left can be got into one area and bobs your uncle, keep said sheet with the cutters,

Can you put down plastic sheeting when you are clipping your hedge?
Just roll it all up when youre finished and job done.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
