They will probably grow allrght Hawthorns, but they will get too big for the windowsill long before it is warm enough to put them out in the greenhouse. So hang fire. If you have itchy fingers plant some peas, shoulder to shoulder in pots, and eat the shoots. they taste like fresh peas.
You could also try some rocket for leaves to eat straight from the pot. Some mixed salad leaves will give you small crops too. Good luck.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

I wouldn't bother as yet, there's plenty of time and it'll be hard not to get them leggy. Sowing too early can be too much trouble to make it worth while. Last year I sowed my first ones in mid March and the last ones mid April and they all produced a good crop even in such a rubbish summer - I was lucky not to get blight problems so my outdoor ones were good too.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
