  • Clematis cuttings

Can 'clematis wilt' be present in cuttings of an infected plant? I had 4 very healthy cuttings from a clematis which I think might have had wilt. 2 of the cuttings have just collapsed. No outward sign of disease. Is there anything I can do to save remaining cuttings or should I bin them?
I have cut the clematis down to ground level but havnt sprayed with fungicide yet.Thank you to anyone who can help
