  • Hi there !

Found this site whilst generally browsing , it seems very friendly and informative.
I have lived , worked and gardened all over - from the Channel Isles to here in Scotland, and still have enormous gaps in my knowledge. I do know that the further South one is the easier things are ( except for watering )
I'm just about to order a polytunnel, so it's all all back to square one again.

Hello and welcome Digger Don You've certainly had a varying gardening experience! What are your plans for this year?
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Hello Digger Don, hope you enjoy the Grapevine. We're all friendly, and some are quite knowledgeable.

Hi and welcome to the vine Digger Don. Lucky you with a tunnel, I would love one - then I could even garden in the rain!
        Happy Gardening,

          Thanks,
Besides erecting said polytunnel - have just received some new potatoes. Despite all the advice I have kept my own seed pots for some years now, concentrating on Ratte and Kondor BUT got the dreaded blight this last year, hence the replacements.
Am trying a collection of Mozart, Atlas and Harlequin; particularly looking forward to Harlequin as they are said to be a cross between Pink Fir Apple and Charlotte.
