    Welcome!

Using link-a-bord for all my vegs now, after last years trial.

If you use the large ones (3m or bigger) the brace which they suggest is really helpful.

    Enjoy your growing.

I was only a bit concerned because 15cm doesn't seem very deep. Even 30cm seems rather shallow for things like leeks and carrots. Maybe it is or maybe I'm just so novice I've got no idea to what depth veggies normally grow! I've read what I can but things can get a bit vague about depths and spacings of veg in pots whilst at the same time saying that "almost anything can be grown in containers". I feel very encouraged by all the responses though and I suppose I've basically just got to get the seeds in and see what happens. I'll learn nothing 'til then! (though the odd hint wouldn't go amiss)

Welcome from me too! I am also very much a novice, i used last year as a total learning curve & grew every veg that i fancied (and that would fit), some worked better than others, some i liked, some i won't bother doing again. I say, buy what seeds you fancy, bung 'em in & see what happens! Put it all down to experience!
